By decision of the government, monetary prizes will be awarded for the results achieved and participation in the XXV Olympic Winter Games

By decision of the government of Georgia, monetary prizes will be awarded to members of the Georgian Olympic team, coaches, medical staff and administrative group for the results achieved and participation in the XXV Olympic Winter Games ("Milan-Cortina-d'Ampezzo 2026").

According to the decree, which will be signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, the Ministry of Sports of Georgia will ensure the relevant measures regarding the issuance of prize money.

The prize money awarded for the results achieved and participation in the XXV Winter Olympic Games was distributed as follows: in figure skating (pair competition) the holders of the 2nd place will receive a cash prize of 51,000 GEL and an additional cash prize of 449,000 GEL, and in figure skating (team championship) for the 4th place - 6,800 GEL. Also, in figure skating (team championship) the holders of the 4th place will receive 6,800 GEL as a cash prize and an additional 50,000 GEL. The head coach of the national figure skating team will be awarded 71,400 GEL as a cash prize.

An additional cash prize of 50,000 GEL has been determined for participation in the alpine skiing (slalom/giant slalom) event.

The medical staff of the Georgian Olympic team will receive 42,840 GEL as a cash prize, and the administrative group of the Georgian Olympic team - 28,560 GEL.
