According to the revised data of the National Statistics Service, the volume of foreign direct investments in Georgia in 2025 amounted to 1,900.4 million USD, which is 19.3 percent more than the corresponding figure in 2024, and 12.5 percent more than the preliminary data for 2025.
According to Geostat, in 2025, the share of reinvestment amounted to 82.5 percent of total foreign direct investments. In addition, according to the agency's report, the share of the three largest investor countries in the total volume of foreign direct investments, according to the revised data for 2025, amounted to 44.4 percent. The United Kingdom is in first place with 22.4 percent - 426.6 million USD. USD, Azerbaijan is in second place with 11.3 percent – 214.4 million USD, and Turkey is in third place with 10.6 percent – 202.4 million USD.
In 2025, the share of the three largest sectors (in terms of foreign direct investment) amounted to 56.8 percent. The largest foreign direct investment was made in the financial and insurance sector and amounted to 633.2 million USD, which is 33.3 percent of the total volume of foreign direct investment. The real estate sector is in second place with 254.7 million USD (13.4 percent), and the trade sector is in third place with 191.1 million USD (10.1 percent).
