According to Tazo Datunashvili, one of the leaders of "Lelo - Strong Georgia", there is a "corruption scheme" operating in the issue of fuel supplies to Abkhazia, in which, according to his assessment, individuals associated with the "Georgian Dream" government are participating.

"This is a conventionally constructed corruption scheme, organized by individuals associated with the "Georgian Dream" family. The entire "Georgian Dream" vertical is supporting this," - Datunashvili said.

According to him, presenting fuel supplies to Abkhazia as a humanitarian need is "the dirtiest act."

"Selling fuel supplies as if they are being used by our Abkhazian brothers and sisters is the dirtiest act," - he noted.

Datunashvili also responded to the statement of the representative of the de facto government of Abkhazia, according to which fuel is supplied via alternative routes.

“Some clown who calls fuel imported from Georgia imported via alternative routes. He has zero sense of gratitude and people there directly write in the comments that this fuel was seen in Gagra, on the Psou border,” he said.

“The fuel that comes from Enguri directly crosses the Psou and goes to Russia. This is alternative and I agree with the so-called minister, some clown who says that this fuel is alternative. This is an alternative route, bypassing sanctions, to supply Russia with products that it is in difficulty with,” Datunashvili noted.

According to his assessment, the above actions constitute “aiding the enemy and corruption.”
