In terms of demarcation-delimitation, including the Gareja section, there has been no agreement - neither written nor oral, and there has been no tangible progress in this regard, therefore, there are simple, false speculations, which were easily exposed, - Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists in Batumi.
According to him, the goal of the Georgian government is to launch the mentioned process and achieve progress taking into account national interests, however, no changes have been made over the past years and, accordingly, there has been no agreement in terms of demarcation-delimitation.
"This was a simple lie and speculation. It is not even worth making any special comments on this topic. I can generally say that no changes have been made in terms of border demarcation and delimitation over the years. No changes have been made in relation to any country. Of course, our goal is to launch this process, to achieve progress, and progress must, of course, be achieved taking into account our national interests, although I would like to emphasize that no changes have been made. Accordingly, no agreement has been signed in terms of demarcation and delimitation over the past years. Everything else is a simple lie and speculation, which was very easily exposed.
As for the demarcation and delimitation in general, including the Gareji section, there has been no written or oral agreement and there has been no tangible progress in this regard at all. Therefore, I will say once again that it is simple, "False speculations, which were easily exposed," the Prime Minister noted.
