“Deep State” poses a great threat to the modern world, – this is how Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze responded to the possible banning of the “Alternative for Germany” party.

According to him, this is not the first case when informal governance is fighting against a party elected by the people.

“When they see that representatives of the “Deep State” cannot win in the country, they try to defeat specific political parties using dirty methods. Let’s remember the example of Romania, the president won the elections, a number of accusations were made against him and he was not even allowed to participate in the second round. We know what this indicates. However, people in Europe have also begun to wake up. They see clearly what the challenges are. Accordingly, they are making decisions that are good for themselves,” – said Kakha Kaladze.
