61 Foreign Nationals Deported from Georgia
Employees of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, in coordination with the relevant units of the Ministry, have deported 61 foreign nationals from Georgia in recent days.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of complex measures taken by the Migration Department, a total of 61 citizens of India, Egypt, Turkey, Cuba, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Nigeria, Armenia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Burundi, Ethiopia and Pakistan were deported from the country. In accordance with the current legislation, the deported persons were banned from entering the country.
According to the current year's statistical data, employees of the Migration Department have already deported about 3,000 people from the country, which significantly exceeds the total figure for the previous year.
