Gela Geladze to Serve as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs

Gela Geladze will assume the position of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced this at a briefing held at the Government Administration.

"With his knowledge and experience, he will significantly strengthen the team at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. I would like to thank Mr. Gela Geladze once again for his service and wish him success," said Irakli Kobakhidze.

It was announced today that Gela Geladze has stepped down as the Head of the State Security Service of Georgia.

The Prime Minister has nominated Tamaz Borashvili for the position of Head of the State Security Service.
