Commemoration of the miracle performed by Archangel Michael at Colossae (also known as Chonae) (4th c.); Martyrs Eudoxius, Zeno, and Macarius (311–312); Venerable Archippus (4th c.); Martyrs Romulus and many others with him (107–115); Hieromartyr Cyril, Bishop of Gortyna (3rd–4th c.); Martyrs Cyriacus, Presbyter Faustus, Deacon Abibos, and eleven other martyrs with them (c. 250); Venerable David (6th c.).

The miracle performed by Archangel Michael at Colossae. In the region of Phrygia, at a place called Cheroeotopos, a church dedicated to Archangel Michael had been built in ancient times. A healing spring flowed nearby. This church was erected by a resident of the city of Laodicea as an act of thanksgiving to God and Archangel Michael, through whose intercession his mute daughter had been healed by the waters of this spring. Following this miracle, the sick began to flock to the healing spring. The church survived many trials.

Due to the miracle performed at Chonae, Archangel Michael is referred to as "Choniatis" (Greek: ho Choniatis). The icon depicting this miracle was also historically known by the name "Choniatis." The Greek form of this name, "Okhoniatis," entered the Georgian language as "Okhoni." In the Middle Ages, the Icon of Okhoni was held in high reverence in Georgia, and churches were built in its honor in several locations. The name was adopted by the town of Khoni in Western Georgia, the village of Okhona in Kartli (Kareli Municipality), and several other places (see T. Meskhi, On the Nature and History of the Icon of Okhoni, Tbilisi, 2015).
