What large-scale rally has the "National Movement" ever managed to pull off?! This, too, will be a day of inevitable failure for them – Irakli Cheishvili
"What large-scale rally has the 'National Movement' ever managed to pull off?! This, too, will be a day of inevitable failure for them," stated Georgian Dream MP Irakli Cheishvili, commenting on the rally announced by the "National Movement" for today at Rike Park.
"This is a provocative organization; they are trying to hold a rally in a place where it is prohibited. There are other locations where they could hold a rally, but the organization is inherently provocative—they simply cannot function without provocation. Absolutely everyone who takes the bait of this provocation will be punished in strict accordance with the law. Everyone will clearly see the scale of it. What kind of scale could it possibly be? What have they ever achieved? What large-scale rally has the 'National Movement' ever actually pulled off?!" "That, too, will be the day of their doomed collapse," said Cheishvili.
For the record, according to Irakli Pavlenishvili, Chairman of the National Movement’s Governing Council, the Ministry of Internal Affairs denied permission to hold the rally planned for October 1st in Rike Park; nevertheless, they intend to gather at the "Rike Pipes" today at 5:00 PM.
