    According to the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia, Murtaz Zodelava and Lasha Beridze—convicted in the "October 4 case"—have admitted to the crime, expressed remorse, and submitted applications to the Prosecutor's Office seeking a plea agreement.

    They further stated that, given the high public interest in the matter, the prosecution's position regarding this issue will be announced to the public as soon as a decision is reached. Murtaz Zodelava and Lasha Beridze—convicted of attempting to seize a facility of strategic and special importance; organizing, leading, and participating in group violence; and publicly calling for the violent alteration of Georgia's constitutional order and the overthrow of the state government—have admitted to their crimes, expressed remorse, and submitted applications to the Prosecutor's Office seeking a plea agreement.

    Given the high public interest in this matter, the prosecution's position will be announced to the public as soon as a decision is reached. We would like to remind you that the Tbilisi City Court previously found Murtaz Zodelava and Lasha Beridze guilty of the charges brought against them and sentenced each to seven years in prison.
