If the European Commission maintains a constructive attitude toward Georgia, the country's European integration will proceed without hindrance; we are faithfully fulfilling our obligations – Irakli Kobakhidze
"If the European Commission maintains a constructive attitude toward Georgia, then naturally, Georgia's European integration will proceed without hindrance," Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.
As the head of government noted, Georgia is faithfully fulfilling its obligations. "We have chosen our path; the main thing is to see a fair, correct, and sound approach from the European Commission. Let us wait and see how events unfold. We have clearly stated our political desire and will, which means we will continue on the path of European integration. You know that, under the Association Agreement and the Free Trade Agreement, 90 percent of the obligations have been fulfilled. We are conscientiously meeting our commitments. You are aware of the situation in Georgia and how far ahead we are—by leaps and bounds—of Ukraine, Moldova, and other candidate countries; the rest is a matter of a sound attitude. If the European Commission adopts a sound approach toward Georgia, then naturally, Georgia’s European integration will proceed without hindrance," stated Irakli Kobakhidze.
