Mikheil Saakashvili, the third President of Georgia, writes on social media regarding the announcement that the Constitutional Court is set to begin reviewing a lawsuit concerning the banning of opposition parties.

"An incompetent dictator cannot ban any political parties! And if he has truly gone so mad as to do such a thing, he will effectively slit his own throat in an instant. His pathetic, collaborationist policy—aligned with his 'dear' Russia—is already in deep, deep trouble. Russia has shown no appreciation for it, and the very foundation upon which he has stood until now is collapsing right on top of him," writes Mikheil Saakashvili.

For context, the review process for the constitutional lawsuit regarding the banning of opposition parties is set to begin on October 21.
