Prime Minister of Georgia Meets with President of Iran

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze met with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian.

The meeting, which took place in Yerevan on the sidelines of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, focused on the relations between the two countries. Positive cooperation in the tourism sector was noted.

Attention was also paid to the situation in the region. The Prime Minister of Georgia once again emphasized the vital importance of dialogue and diplomatic efforts in ensuring de-escalation and long-lasting peace.
