Zelenskyy does not want this war to end, and likely never did – Donald Trump
With all the money Zelenskyy receives from Europe—as well as what Joe Biden provided in the past—he has no desire to end this war, and likely never did, writes U.S. President Donald Trump on social media. "My position regarding Russia is very simple. I am currently engaged in the process of negotiating peace in the war between Russia and Ukraine, and I do not want to do anything that would foolishly drive Russia away from the negotiating table. Significant progress is being made—including ongoing negotiations regarding hostages! Signing this document now would lead to exactly that; I can sign it later, or at any time I choose!
Perhaps more importantly, Russia is doing very little (if anything at all) to assist the Islamic Republic of Iran, compared to what it could be doing—and I want it to stay that way. And it will, provided that foolish people do not interfere.
Finally, Zelenskyy is targeting diesel refineries in Russia, fully aware that these attacks are causing serious damage to global diesel markets, including those in the United States. Farmers, ranchers, and businesses of all kinds are suffering greatly as a result—yet, despite this, Russia continues to supply millions of barrels of diesel to the world at low prices." "Zelenskyy doesn't care about this, and, to be honest, given all the money Europe is giving him—along with what 'Crooked Joe Biden' gave him in the past—he has no desire to end this war; in fact, he likely never did. Two years ago, he could have secured a better deal than what is possible now. His country is devastated, large portions of his territory are lost, his access to oceans and seas has been seized, and his population has dwindled—with many wounded or killed.
I want this war to end! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President Donald J. Trump," writes U.S. President Donald Trump on his social media platform, Truth Social.
