Massimiliano D’Antuono, the Italian Ambassador to Georgia, hosted renowned Italian architect and urbanist Stefano Boeri and congratulated him on winning the architectural competition for "Loco Park."

According to the Italian Embassy in Georgia, the project entails the redevelopment of the site of Tbilisi’s former electric locomotive manufacturing plant—an area spanning approximately 73,600 square meters—and the transformation of this historic industrial space into a multifunctional environment.

The Embassy noted that the victory of Stefano Boeri’s architectural studio serves as international recognition of the quality and creative potential of Italian architecture.

Furthermore, the project creates an additional opportunity to strengthen cooperation between Italy and Georgia in the fields of architecture, design, and innovation.
