The Prime Minister on fuel prices: No matter how much you reduce taxes, it cannot have a radical impact on fuel prices; statements made regarding excise duties are purely speculative
"There is a global problem; no matter how much you reduce taxes, it cannot radically affect fuel prices, given that taxes do not account for a large portion of the cost per liter," the Prime Minister stated in response to a journalist's question.
He added that statements being made regarding excise duties are entirely speculative.
"Furthermore, these taxes go into the budget and, ultimately, are used for the benefit of the people. That is why the statements being made about excise duties are purely speculative," the Prime Minister noted.
