Britain's King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrive in the US
Britain's King Charles III and Queen Camilla have arrived in the US. This is the first visit by a British monarch since 2007.

The king and queen arrived at an air base near Washington.
The royal family headed to the White House, where they were met by US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. Photos of the meeting are being circulated in the media.
This is Charles III's first state visit to the US as monarch and the first such visit by a British monarch since 2007.
As is known, the British government worked closely with US security services in organizing the visit, especially in the wake of the shooting incident at a Washington hotel.
Donald Trump said the king will be "completely safe" during his visit.
As part of the visit, King Charles III of the United Kingdom will address the US Congress.
