Iran's new proposal is unacceptable - Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump says that Iran's latest proposal to resolve the conflict is unacceptable to the United States. The White House leader told Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (KAN) journalist Nathan Gutman during a telephone conversation.

"Iran's new proposal is unacceptable. It is unacceptable to me. I have studied it, I have studied everything - it is unacceptable," the journalist quotes Donald Trump as saying.

Earlier, official Tehran confirmed that it had received a response from Washington on the peace agreement submitted to the United States. According to Iranian state media, the US has transmitted a response to the 14-point proposal to Iran via Pakistan, and Tehran is currently considering the response.

Earlier, Iran's state news agency Tasnim published the terms of a peace deal Iran has submitted to the United States. According to the agency, the terms include: guarantees that the United States will not attack Iran, the withdrawal of American military forces from the region around Iran, the lifting of the US naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and the introduction of a "new mechanism" for managing the strait, an end to the Israeli-Hezbollah conflict in Lebanon, the release of frozen Iranian assets, an end to the war in 30 days - instead of the two-month truce proposed by the United States, as well as the postponement of negotiations on the nuclear program until after the end of the war.
