Davit Tarkhan-Mouravi rejects his MP mandate at Adjara Supreme Council
One of the leaders of the political party, Alliance of Patriots of Georgia, Davit Tarkhan-Mouravi refuses to serve his term as the member of the Supreme Council of the Adjara Autonomous Republic of Georgia – the leader of the party announced his decision in the interview with the Pirweli TV Company today.
“It would be reasonable to enter the Adjara Supreme Council with eight mandates. They did so by allowing only one member of the party to enter the Council, because they wanted to leave us with no power”, - Davit Tarkhan-Mouravi said. He also added that number second candidate in the party’s election list, Zaza Okuashvili would take the mandate of the Supreme Council of Adjara.
