One person arrested in Akhmeta for various crimes committed against his ex-wife

Officers of the Akhmeta District Division of the Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested G.Kh., born in 1994, on charges of violence against his ex-wife, stalking, and violation of the inviolability of apartment ownership.

The investigation established that the accused entered the residence of his ex-wife, K.R., born in 1996, in Akhmeta Municipality without permission and physically assaulted her in the presence of her minor children. It was also established that the accused systematically stalked K.R.

As a result of the operational measures and investigative actions carried out by the police, G.Kh. was arrested as a suspect.

The investigation is underway under Articles 126, 11, 151, and 160 of the Criminal Code, which provides for imprisonment for a term of up to 3 years.
