“If we were to simply not rely on our assessments, the public would probably be discussing where Kaia Kallas and leaders like her are taking the EU, how the EU has weakened both economically and geopolitically, how many challenges the EU has as an institution, and how member states, in some cases, protest the policies that Kaia Kallas and leaders like her support. Therefore, when a European politician who makes such policies criticizes you and criticizes your policies, it is probably very easy to make a choice about where the truth lies, without even paying attention to the fact that our political steps are in full accordance with the interests and demands of the Georgian people. If Kaia Kallas is addressing someone else and not the Georgian people, let her tell us that too. She knows very well the choice of the Georgian people and she also knows that our policies have full support,” Tsilosani said.

The EU's High Representative, Kaia Kalas, said ahead of the European Political Council (EPC) summit in Yerevan: "Discussions are ongoing to be able to move forward on connectivity. We have some issues with Georgia because the government is taking steps in the wrong direction."
