Mikheil Sarjveladze Held a Meeting with Representatives of Clinics Participating in the Pilot Program
As part of the new stage of primary healthcare reform, Minister of Health Mikheil Sarjveladze met with representatives of clinics participating in the pilot program.
The meeting focused on the progress of the pilot program, the experience gained, and issues related to the new stage of the reform.
Mikheil Sarjveladze emphasized the role of primary healthcare facilities. Discussions covered disease prevention, vaccination, screening, early disease detection, and the timely provision of necessary services to patients.
Additionally, the participants discussed the areas and objectives that primary healthcare facilities will be required to address during the new stage of the reform. The meeting was held at the Sachkhere Medical Center and was attended by Deputy Minister of Health Tea Giorgadze, State Representative in the Imereti Region Levan Zalkaliani, Mayor of Sachkhere Municipality Levan Ivanashvili, Director of the Georgian Medical Holding Malkhaz Zhorzhikashvili, and representatives of the medical sector.
