An Open Letter from Giorgi Kurdadze, Director of `Mtavari Arkhi,` to Nika Gvaramia

Nika, it is incomprehensible that you could not recall our personal acquaintance over so many years. When asked by a journalist about me, you said: "I have never communicated with him in my life, and I do not know who you are talking about."

I would like to remind you that we have been in contact since the time you were fired from Rustavi 2 and left without a television platform. We, the "Omega Group," accepted you. I and other directors of "Omega Group" companies transferred to you the material and technical resources of the TV company "Iberia-TV," which belonged to us, as well as buildings not only at Iberia but also on the premises of Omega Motor Group and Omega Group Factory.

It seems you no longer recognize us since:

You wasted nearly 5 million of Omega Group's money.

You accrued an 11 million debt to "Mtavari Arkhi" through financial machinations, which continues to grow and damages Omega Group and its contribution to the capital of "Mtavari Arkhi."

Together with the New Sales Director, Thea Gvaramia, you engaged in financial schemes within "Mtavari Arkhi."

Instead of presenting a proper declaration at the border as a document confirming the origin of over 8 million brought in by parliamentarian Koba Nakopia, you submitted only the border crossing stamps from Nakopia’s passport.

When I requested documents confirming the origin of the funds brought into "Mtavari Arkhi's" cash office, you threatened to "break my head."

It seems that neither I nor the "Omega Group" can be remembered now, as none of the state institutions, nor the tax and customs services, nor TBC Bank or the National Bank have noticed the illegal circulation of funds at "Mtavari Arkhi." Giorgi Gabunia, the second director of "Mtavari Arkhi," tells me that "Mtavari Arkhi" is under protection from above, and that I am simply wasting my time.

It is regrettable that, instead of contributing to the building of a democratic, just state, you used the platform we provided to harm us and "Mtavari Arkhi." For personal and political gain, you have secured the patronage of Ivanishvili and state institutions.

Nika, if you want to embrace European values, remember that these values do not include betraying your partners, lying, or engaging in financial schemes. Such actions are not the path to victory.
