Nika Gvaramia and Koba Nakopia harmed `Mtavari Arkhi` once again two weeks ago and misappropriated nearly 4 million GEL from the channel – Giorgi Kurdadze

The director of "Mtavari Arkhi," Giorgi Kurdadze, has released a statement, which "MediaNews" presents unchanged.

“On the March 18 broadcast of TV Pirveli, the failed media manager involved in politics and former director of Mtavari Arkhi, Nika Gvaramia, stated: There is no debt at Mtavari Arkhi as of today, none at all, claiming that this was supposedly his moral obligation.

Nika Gvaramia’s statement that Mtavari Arkhi no longer has any debts is a blatant lie.

As of today, Mtavari Arkhi still has outstanding debts, including salary arrears to the company’s employees, as well as debts owed to service providers. The debt to the state budget alone exceeds 13 million GEL — not to mention the multimillion debts owed to the Omega Group.

In total, the debt of Mtavari Arkhi exceeds 25 million GEL.

Nika Gvaramia and former Member of Parliament Koba Nakopia, who informally manage Mtavari Arkhi, inflicted further damage on the company just two weeks ago and misappropriated nearly 4 million GEL that had been accumulated in the account of the company New Sales from advertising sales of Mtavari Arkhi.

The advertising company New Sales was sold on March 6 of this year for a symbolic price, through a fraudulent scheme devised by Nika Gvaramia and Koba Nakopia.

The new fictitious owner of New Sales became Koba Nakopia’s Ukrainian driver, and the fictitious director – a Ukrainian citizen considered trustworthy by Nakopia. The right to manage the nearly 4 million GEL accumulated from Mtavari Arkhi’s advertising sales in New Sales was transferred by these fictitious persons to a certain Makasarashvili – Gvaramia’s partner and friend.

For years, Nika Gvaramia and Koba Nakopia have been jointly looting Mtavari Arkhi, appropriating profits from advertising revenues, while leaving Mtavari Arkhi burdened with millions in debts.

Nika Gvaramia and Koba Nakopia have deliberately caused harm to Mtavari Arkhi, its viewers, employees, the state budget, and the founder of Mtavari Arkhi, Zaza Okuashvili – without whom Mtavari Arkhi would not have been created or existed.

All of the above-mentioned individuals will have to answer before the law for their criminal actions.”
