Omega Group is the leader again – the award granted for being on leading positions in National Business Ratings
Georgia’s leading business companies have been nominated by the National Business Ratings of Georgia and Swiss Rating Association. Omega Group was among the best 20 organizations operating in Georgia.
Special award, the Permanent Leader, was issued for the first time at the 43rd annual award ceremony and it was granted to Omega Group for being on leading position during many years. The winner of another award, the Sector Leader, has also become OGT (Omega Group Tobacco) company and its founder, Mr. Zaza Okuashvili.
Nikoloz Asanidze, the director general of OGT, announced after the ceremony that this award was the recognition of the company’s successful operation through the past five years.
“This is a very significant award, this is the great recognition of our company’s tireless work during the past five years. This is the demonstration of our leadership during those five years in the economic sector and of course, this creates new responsibilities for us. From the very first days of its founding, the company has been focused on introducing new technologies, leading practices of international standards and providing high quality services. Of course, this award makes us more responsible in our segment”, - OGT Director General, Mr. Nikoloz Asanidze has stated.
Mr. Giorgi Kurdadze, the Director General of Omega 2 Company, also the part of Omega Group, has also emphasized the significance of the award.
“This is a reason to be pleased that once again, the importance of this company for Georgia, for each of us, for the Georgian economy, has been reaffirmed. This is going to continue in the future and our company will enjoy more success both in Georgia and abroad”, - Mr. Giorgi Kurdadze has said.
The head of the National Business Rating of Georgia, Mrs. Maka Kutubidze defined that the companies, who are always in the focus of their business ratings, participated in the award ceremony.
“The goal is to select the most successful companies and increase the support to these companies on international market”, - Mrs. Maka Kutubidze said at the ceremony, which was attended by Georgian authorities and the representatives of the business sector.
