Zaza Okuashvili Accused Bidzina Ivanishvili of Destroying His Business in a London Court
On January 27, in a London court, lawyers representing Zaza Okuashvili, the founder of Omega Group and co-founder of Mtavari Arkhi, accused Bidzina Ivanishvili of economic destruction, according to Bloomberg.
The Georgian-British businessman is seeking up to $500 million in damages related to the loss of profits from his business.
According to the plaintiff, Ivanishvili and his partners deliberately destroyed his business and personal assets using methods of blackmail and conspiracy. The former Prime Minister, Bidzina Ivanishvili, allegedly leveraged his political influence to achieve this.
