Zelensky arrives in Istanbul — to meet with Erdogan
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Istanbul, Turkey, where he will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
As European Pravda writes, Zelensky's spokesman, Sergei Nikiforov, told reporters about this.
According to him, Zelensky arrived in Istanbul on Saturday, April 3.
"The president arrived in Istanbul for talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan," Nikiforov said.
A day earlier, the Turkish president had a telephone conversation with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin. According to reports, the main topic of the conversation was the ongoing war in the Middle East.
In addition, earlier this week, Zelensky invited the US negotiating delegation to Kiev.
The Ukrainian president also noted that the country should be prepared for a possible interruption of American weapons supplies, although he added that there are no concrete signals about this at this stage.
