According to Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, the fuel price hike is due to the processes taking place in the Middle East, and this problem concerns not only Georgia, but the entire world.

The mayor told journalists about this in response to a relevant question.

“Everyone who is following the events sees how difficult the situation is in the Middle East. I think there are no questions here and we know why prices are increasing. Not only here, but in the world in general, in various European countries and cities, they are already talking about fuel shortages and problems. Of course, this is a serious challenge not only for us, but also for the world. Prices are due to the processes taking place in the Middle East,” said Kakha Kaladze.
