Precipitation expected in Georgia on April 8-9
According to the National Environmental Agency, precipitation is expected in Georgia on April 8-9.
According to them, on April 8, scattered precipitation is expected in western Georgia, and on April 9, in most parts of the country, heavy in some places. Also, lightning, wind strengthening, storm surges of 3-4 points at sea, and avalanche danger in high-mountainous areas are possible.
"Strong westerly winds are blowing in eastern Georgia, including in the capital.
The expected precipitation may significantly increase water levels in rivers, and cause the onset and activation of landslide-sandstorm processes in hilly and mountainous areas (danger level medium)," the information says.
