Givi Mikanadze leaves for a working visit to the United States

Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth Givi Mikanadze has left for a working visit to the United States.

According to the Ministry of Education, Mikanadze will deliver a speech at the 2026 ECOSOC Youth Forum organized by the UN in New York.

“Within the framework of the visit, Givi Mikanadze will meet with leaders of the education and science sectors of European countries and heads of UN structural units.

The Minister will visit the Holy Hieromartyr Grigol Peradze Georgian Cultural Center in Pennsylvania. He will also introduce the heads of Sunday schools operating in the United States to the ongoing reforms in the Georgian education system.

Givi Mikanadze will hold bilateral meetings at the US State Department and the State Department of Education,” the information says.
