Kobakhidze on meeting with Zelensky: The problems that existed, of course, have not gone anywhere, although we must be future-oriented. Yesterday, in essence, we were focused on a friendly conversation and this was the spirit, which was very important
As for yesterday's conversation, I cannot talk about the details. The problems that existed, of course, remain - neither Adeishvili, nor Lortkipanidze, nor the statements that were made, nor the decision to recall the ambassador, etc. have not gone anywhere. Yesterday, we were essentially focused on a friendly conversation and this was the spirit, which was very important, - Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists about this.
According to him, the problems remain, although it is important, orientation towards the future is important.
"We did not go into depth, including regarding the problems. Of course, there were problems and these problems have not gone anywhere, but we must be future-oriented. I, personally, have never mentioned Zelensky in a negative context and there is one simple reason for this, despite the problems that have accumulated, there is only one reason for this - Zelensky is the president of a country that is currently in a state of war, and this country is our friendly country. Therefore, I have always been careful with my words specifically regarding the president, Mr. Zelensky. The problems that existed, of course, have not gone anywhere, but we must be future-oriented," the Prime Minister noted.
