Tadumadze and Nadareishvili - Ruling team has two special Favorits out of 21 Candidates for Chief Prosecutor`s post

From the 21 candidates who want to become chief prosecutor, the ruling majority has two distinct favorites. the Minister of Justice should select three candidates from the proposed list and submit the candidacies to the Prosecutor"s Council. The Council should select one and forward it to the government.

Members of the parliamentary majority confirm that Shalva Tadumadze, the head of the government"s administration, will be among the three selected by Tea Tsulukiani candidates. Tadumadze, a favorite of the ruling party, was Bidzina Ivanishvili"s personal lawyer.

Irakli Nadareishvili is a favorite of some of the parliamentary majority and acting prosecutors. Nana Kakabadze is a lobbyist of the high-ranking official of the Prosecutor"s Office.

Leader of "Free Democrats" Shalva Shavgulidze was included in the list of candidates at the initiative of "European Georgia". Despite the registration of their candidate, the parliamentary minority declares distrust to the process in the conditions of Tea Tsulukiani as a Minister of Justice.
