National Food Agency Suspends Fish Enterprise in Gori
As a result of an unscheduled control conducted by inspectors of the Shida Kartli Department of the National Food Agency in the city of Gori, the activities of a fish enterprise were suspended.
According to the National Food Agency, critical non-conformities were identified at the facility of an individual, A. Ch. (address: Gori, Shartavas Chikhi N8) - a gross violation of hygiene standards. 100 kg. of fish were sealed.
“Due to the above-mentioned non-conformities, in accordance with the legislation of Georgia, the business operator was fined and the production process was suspended until the critical non-conformities were fully eliminated,” the National Food Agency said.
The National Food Agency calls on business operators to carry out their activities only in compliance with the requirements established by the legislation.
