The interests of other countries will not be pursued here… It will no longer be what happened before 2012 – any stupid statement about Georgia by any foreigner was accepted as truth - Kakha Kaladze

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze responded to the media about another resolution on Georgia, which was supported by the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

According to Kaladze, this resolution, like the previous one, is saturated with lies and slander.

“This is not the first time that this type of resolution has been adopted. It is disappointing that the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly supports such a shameful resolution. This institution is invited to observe elections in countries, including Georgia. When you adopt such a resolution that is saturated with lies, what elections are you talking about observing? How can you invite this organization to evaluate elections,” said Kakha Kaladze.

According to the Tbilisi mayor, representatives of the agency network will not be allowed to participate in the elections, which will protect the country from the influence of external forces.

“The interests of another country will not be pursued here. First of all, Georgian statehood is at stake. What happened before 2012 will no longer happen – they accepted any stupid statement about Georgia by a foreigner as the truth. The masters of this country are the Georgian people, who decide who will be at the helm of the country, and not external forces, as was the case before. Specific international organizations have been implicated in hostile activities against Georgia. When President Trump came out and gave these organizations the appropriate name and talked about what we talked about years ago, they forgot all about it. We will not give these people the opportunity to pursue the interests of another big country in Georgia,” Kakha Kaladze noted.
