The First Lady of Georgia, Tamar Bagrationi, left for Washington at the invitation of the First Lady of the United States of America, Melania Trump. The press service of the Presidential Administration reported this.
According to them, Tamar Bagrationi will participate in the global summit organized by Melania Trump - "Together for a Better Future", which aims to ensure the safe and innovative use of advanced technologies to promote the education, development and well-being of children.
As part of the summit, Melania Trump will host the spouses of the presidents in a roundtable format at the White House. The discussions aim to assess the support of the spouses of the first persons for the well-being of children in the digital era and discuss their common obligations.
Before the roundtable meeting, a working session will be held, which will be hosted by the US State Department. The working session will include a discussion, the participants of which will learn about practical approaches and innovative tools that will help children use opportunities and overcome challenges in the digital age.
Events will be held on March 24 and 25 as part of the Global Summit “Together for a Better Future,” organized at the initiative of Melania Trump. Along with the First Lady of Georgia, Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Baia Kvitsiani and Chairwoman of the Georgian Parliament’s Committee on Education, Science and Youth Affairs Mariam Lashkhi will participate in it.
