The publication was told by sources that the 21st package of EU sanctions against Russia, which was presented by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen yesterday, includes new restrictions against banks, oil traders and crypto platforms.
The new package of sanctions includes 31 Russian banks, 20 oil trading entities from third countries, as well as crypto companies and platforms.

The publication writes that the named entities are accused of providing services to sanctioned entities or helping them circumvent EU restrictions.
“This includes 4 banks from Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and India; 11 crypto platforms from Belarus, Georgia, Nigeria, Panama, the United Arab Emirates and the Marshall Islands; as well as 5 oil traders from the United Arab Emirates,” officials told the publication.
