Suspect arrested in murder of Russian citizen using Georgian passport - Donald Tusk
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that a suspect has been arrested in the murder of Russian opposition artist Semyon Skrepitsky, who was using a Georgian passport.
Donald Tusk wrote about this on social media.
“The Lublin police and the Polish Security Service have arrested a suspect in the murder of a Russian citizen using a Georgian passport in Biała-Podilska. Law enforcement officers are working to identify the organizer of the murder,” the Polish Prime Minister wrote.
Russian opposition artist Semyon Skrepitsky was killed in Poland on June 15. Skrepitsky, 44, was a sharp critic of Russia’s political leadership. He was shot five times in Biała Podlaska.
Two Belarusian citizens were previously arrested in connection with the murder, but were later released.
